Basic Drawing Techniques: Drawing From an Image
Tuesday, April 2 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
This course is designed for adults who wish to start drawing, but aren’t sure where to begin. We will be working on basic drawing skills and techniques over the course of four classes. Our first class will serve as an introduction – trying out techniques and becoming familiar with materials. In the second class, students will begin a drawing based on an image of their choice with guidance along the way as they put what we have learned to use. The third and fourth classes will be used as a way to complete details of our drawing, add finishing touches and a short critique of everyone’s work. All materials are provided with the exception of the image you will draw from (try not to find something too small, 4×6 in photo size or larger is best and should be a hard copy).
