Here and Now: Conversations for String Quartet with the Chiarina Chamber Players

How is the string quartet relevant to composers today? What kinds of experiences inspire them to write for this genre? Join us for string quartet tapas, featuring selections by the father of the string quartet, Haydn, and American composers living and working today—from Wynton Marsalis to John Luther Adams, Caroline Shaw, Jessie Montgomery, Sahba Aminikia, Ljova, and Jay Ungar.

Featuring violinists Sheng-Tsung Wang and Foster Wang, violist Sarah Hart, and cellist Carrie Bean Stute
