Two years after his passing, these panels will provide an opportunity to critically reconsider his life, activism and lasting affect on the city.  Eschewing polemics, these sessions will present a holistic picture of Barry, teasing out the complexity of the activist and politician, while situating him within the constantly changing environment of post-civil rights era D.C.
