Talk of the Hill with Bill Press: Peter Baker and Glenn Thrush of the New York Times
Tuesday, October 3 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Award-winning journalist, political insider and Capitol Hill resident Bill Press sits down at Hill Center for a thought-provoking conversation with Peter Baker and Glenn Thrush of the New York Times, about what it’s like to cover this administration and Baker’s new book “Obama: The Call of History.”
Peter Baker is the chief White House correspondent for The New York Times covering President Donald J. Trump. He covered the three previous presidencies for The Times and The Washington Post. He will publish his fourth book, “Obama: The Call of History,” a picture-and-text history of the 44th president in June. Glenn Thrush also covers the White House for The New York Times and was formerly a senior staff writer at Politico. He covered Hilary Clinton’s 2008 campaign for Newsday.
Please join Bill Press at Hill Center at 6:30 pm to enjoy a glass of wine and some conversation among the Galleries.
