AN AFTERNOON FULL OF POETIC PROMISE

DC's grande dame of gossip, Diana McLellan, will entertain and amuse at a special appearance at the Hill Center on Sunday afternoon, November 18th. While the legendary journalist, columnist, author and editor, will be mainly reading from her latest publication -- a collection of poetry -- she will also recall the days when she was privy to the 'secrets' of the famous and infamous.
British-born Diana, who has called Capitol Hill home for 50 years, will introduce the audience to some of her highly personalized poems in the inspiringMaking Hay. The book has won critical acclaim from a wide array of reviewers. Allan Dodds, of Newsweek and The Beast, called it "enchanting.” John Kelly of the Washington Post labeled it "essential." While Joan Rivers instructed, "Buy it!"
