3D Game Design
3rd-8th Grade
In this exciting class, children will use basic 3D modeling skills to create their very own platform-based video game. Students create their own unique puzzles and challenges in a 3D game world utilizing tools such a teleporters, jumppads, and lava. They also learn how to add characters, customize game attributes, and build their own virtual world from scratch. Students use their imagination, and problem-solving skills in order to find new ways to create different in-game puzzles for their classmates to solve.
By the last class students will have a fully functional level and will receive a link to download the software and student levels. Looking for a way to introduce your child to the wonderful world of video game design? This is a great place to start!
