Studio Arts Courses with Christine Vineyard

Christine Vineyard is a local DC artist and art teacher, working with all mediums and a concentration in photography, drawing and painting. She has her BFA in Art Education and a Masters of Art Education with a focus on curriculum writing. Christine is originally from Atlanta, GA where she taught at an international charter school before relocating to DC to continue her teaching career. Christine has worked with all ages from preschool to adults and is excited about sharing her knowledge and love of art with others.

Christine teaches a ‘Basic Drawing Techniques: Drawing from an Image’ course typically once a month to invite beginners into the studio arts at Hill Center. Each month she also teaches an Advanced Drawing Techniques course. The topic/medium of this course changes every month depending on what current students are interested in. You must complete the Basic Drawing Techniques course before moving onto advanced. Christine also teaching monthly arts workshops focusing on watercolors, linocut printmaking, and sip ‘n paint!
