One of the fun things about Capitol Hill is that the neighborhood doesn’t take itself too seriously. From small to gigantic sculptures of animals are tucked into front yards and park space. The newest are the bunnies at Eastern Market Park and the oldest date back to the turtles and the deer on East Capitol. The giraffe came all the way from South Africa. Some have names, like Gypsy the cow. Keep your eyes open to spy the Capitol Hill Creatures.
