Cooking Up New Fall Classes

When stay at home orders first began, it seemed as if everyone and their mother began cooking and baking up a storm… and so have we! Having more free time on our hands has been both a blessing and a curse, but what better way to fill up that time than whipping out your baking appliances and recipe book and giving it a go?

With the holidays steadily approaching, our upcoming virtual cooking classes are arriving just in time. Virtual cooking classes can be just as fun as in person classes. Settle into the comfort of your own kitchen, and cook alongside our longtime friend Chef Wendi James. We are positive that you will find a cooking class that is perfect for you.

Whether you are new to the kitchen or you’d just like to hone in on your technical skills, our Knife Skills Classes or our Introduction to Cooking Series are perfect for you!

Probably one of our most exciting (and delicious!) series coming up is Pastry Basics! You’ll learn the science behind baking delectable tarts, custards and curds, pâte à choux and pie dough, and ganache, meringue and caramel. With this series under your belt, you’ll be sure to impress your family with a special holiday dessert!

If you love cooking and showcasing your food for your family, quaran-team or pod is your style, then take the plunge and learn the techniques behind preparing and presenting vegetables, eggs, poultry, roots and tubers and beef in our Master’s Deep Dive Series.

For those of you who are serious about becoming a master chef, the Mother Sauce Series could come in handy. It is believed that these basic sauces are the essential building blocks for all other sauces around the world. Build your confidence in the kitchen and expand your repertoire!

Maybe you’re a person who just wants to nail down a solid recipe or two. Whether that’s everyone’s favorite French cookie, the macaron, or a perfect quiche, our On the Cooling Rack classes offers you the opportunity to perfect the recipe of your choice! Learn all the tips and tricks of creating a quiche or macarons at home.

We know that cooking can be stressful at times, but these classes will remind you how to shake things up in the kitchen and provide you with the skills and technique necessary to do so. New cooking classes are added all the time, so be sure to keep checking the calendar or sign up for our eblast to stay in the know.

Oh, and if you’re worried about missing a class because someone is always putting a last minute Zoom meeting on your calendar or your child has decided it’s the perfect time to melt down – we’ve got you covered. You’ll get a link to the video recording of each class you registered for, whether you joined us live or not.

We are looking forward to seeing you in the kitchen!
