In this interactive cooking class, Marianne Tshihamba serves up dishes inspired by her travels. Take a trip to Belgium! Moules Frites is considered the national dish of Belgium. It consists of fresh mussels often steamed in white wine, butter, and shallots. Accompanied with homemade french fries so crispy and delicious that you’ll be licking your fingers after!
Join Hill Center and Marianne and take your taste buds abroad!

An ingredients list and recipes will be sent out following the class.
Marianne Tshihamba has traveled the world pursuing new flavors and demystifying unfamiliar ingredients. Here in the Washington area, she has scouted the countless international grocery stores that stock their shelves with a wide range of products to serve the needs of our diverse community. This class requires at least 6 participants. Participants will be notified if the minimum is not met. Registration will close a couple days before the class so the instructor can shop for the appropriate amount of ingredients.
