A Trip to Belgium: Moules Frites (Mussels & Fries)

$69.00In this interactive cooking class, Marianne Tshihamba serves up dishes inspired by her travels. Take a trip to Belgium! Moules Frites is considered the national dish of Belgium. It consists of fresh mussels often steamed in white wine, butter, and shallots. Accompanied with homemade french fries so crispy and delicious that you’ll be licking your fingers after!

Marianne Tshihamba has traveled the world pursuing new flavors and demystifying unfamiliar ingredients. Here in the Washington area, she has scouted the countless international grocery stores that stock their shelves with a wide range of products to serve the needs of our diverse community. Good food knows no boundaries or borders. Check out Marianne on WJLA, where she makes regular appearances to discuss her food and travels.
This class requires at least 6 participants. Participants will be notified if the minimum is not met. Registration will close a couple days before the class so the instructor can shop for the appropriate amount of ingredients.
