In this interactive cooking class, Marianne Tshihamba serves up dishes inspired by her travels. Learn to make well-known dishes like Pad Thai, Thai beef salad, and Sticky Rice and Mango. Marianne will also conduct a fish sauce tasting and a collection of essential Thai ingredients including galangal, lemongrass, lime leaves, Thai basil, turmeric, fresh peppercorns, Thai eggplant, and chilis. Learn all the basics of Thai cooking at Hill Center and replace takeout with your own home cooking!
Unlimited beer and wine are included in the price of the course!
An ingredients list and recipes will be sent out following the class.
Marianne Tshihamba has traveled the world pursuing new flavors and demystifying unfamiliar ingredients. Here in the Washington area, she has scouted the countless international grocery stores that stock their shelves with a wide range of products to serve the needs of our diverse community. As this class is in-person, we require all attendees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. This class requires at least 6 participants.
