UPDATE 9/29/22:
As many of you are aware, due to hurricane Ian, the DMV is expected to get heavy rain most of this weekend. As a result, we will most likely be moving this concert indoors.

However, the show will go on! Seating will begin at 4:00pm on a first come, first serve basis for those with reservations until our indoor space fills up. Proof of vaccination will be required for indoor seating, masks are optional.

We also ask that you arrive with your full party so that seats are not ‘reserved’ inside (with jackets, purses, etc.) for people who have not yet arrived.

We look forward to seeing you for a fabulous evening of music!

Hill Center is thrilled to welcome The Revelers as part of our free, outdoor American Roots Music Series!

Ultimate Louisiana supergroup – The Revelers have been bringing their party around the world for over 12 years. With their long-awaited follow up to 2016’s Grammy nominated record out last year, the band has taken their place firmly at the top of a game where they make the rules.

As individuals, they are each in high demand having performed and recorded with T-Bone Burnett, Natalie Merchant, Linda Ronstadt, Preston Frank, Walter Mouton, Mamadou Diabate, the Duhks, Cedric Watson, and Tim O’Brien, to name a few. As a group they play with a sense of empathy and depth that can only be fostered after years of making music together. They have all appeared on the 2011 season finale of Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations, and they also were handpicked by David Simon (producer/creator, The Wire) to be featured musicians for the third and fourth seasons of HBO’s Tremé.

“There has to be at least one band in the country that reveres the past and is unafraid about dragging it into the future. Mark down the Revelers as that band, musicians who aren’t afraid of mixing up accordion, fiddles, saxophones and guitars.”– Vanguard Records
