If you have ever wanted to start knitting with a manageable project this is the class for you! With individualized instruction, students new to knitting will learn the basics and finish an item over the 4 week course of this program. If you have knitted before, our instructor welcomes you to come and try a new technique or different stitches on a small item. The class will be a hands-on exploration of what’s possible with one skein of yarn.
Paula Lytle has lived on the Hill since 1997 and has been knitting for over 40 years. A former college professor, she has taught knitting to both children and adults, and one of her students now raises sheep. She can be found on Ravelry under the userID Magla.
Feel free to bring your own needles and yarn if you already have it, but you will also be able to purchase all your supplies directly from the instructor, at cost, on the first day of class.
