Please join us at Hill Center on Monday, June 13th from 6:30pm-8:00pm for an Opening Reception celebrating our newest exhibit: Capitol Hill Art League (CHAL) Juried Exhibition.

We invite you to tour the art in the building and then join us outside on the east garden (weather permitting) for refreshments and an awards ceremony at 7:30pm.

Hill Center Galleries is pleased to announce that 36 CHAL artists have had their work chosen for the 2022 Capitol Hill Art League Juried Exhibition. Juried by Hill Center Galleries Director Nicky Cymrot and artist Alan Braley, these works feature a wide variety of mediums and viewpoints. The entire gallery will be both online and in-person as of June 8th. All art is available for purchase.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED INSIDE HILL CENTER FOR THE RECEPTION

The exhibition runs June 8-September 10, 2022.

About Capitol Hill Art League (CHAL):

Capitol Hill Art League (CHAL), a visual arts program of Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW), produces and promotes juried and non-juried exhibits throughout the year. Artists/members are 18 years- 80+ from the DC-metro area including Virginia and Maryland. We show and sell our art work at galleries and various venues in the DC region.

Our season runs January through December and expires 12/31.  You can join CHAL with our online membership application on this website at any time of the year, even mid-season! $60 is for one year and two hours of volunteer time.
