Ever wonder how bakeries get the icing to look just right? Join Paige as she leads a hands-on decorating class! At the end of this class, you will have decorated five beautiful winter sugar cookies to take home. You will learn the basics of royal icing, tips to make decorating easier, and various techniques to elevate your designs. You will receive her most-requested cookie recipe and icing recipe for you to continue practicing your new skills at home.
We will provide everything you need which includes the chocolate flavored cookies, royal icing, decorating tools, and a box to take home your creations. Don’t worry about bringing your own drinks, beer and wine (for the adults) are included in your ticket!
We know that decorating cookies is a favorite holiday activity but it can be so much work to bake the cookies, make the frosting, and come up with creative designs. Let us do the work for you and you can just focus on the fun. This is the perfect class for a family outing or a fun caretaker and child activity. The class is for a beginner cookier, a person who is curious about what cookie decorating is all about, or the person who wants to decorate without having to do all the prep work!

About Paige: Paige Sholar is a home cottage baker located in our Capitol Hill neighborhood. Since launching her business in September of 2021, she has made countless cookies for baby showers, weddings, birthdays, and other life’s milestones. She loves that cookies allows her to connect with her community and can bring a small amount of joy into people’s lives.
As this class is in-person, we require all attendees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. This class requires at least 6 participants.
