In this class, we’ll learn some simple shortcuts for creating an inspiring and festive dinner party! Come hungry—we’ll enjoy cooking and eating a meal together, and you’ll leave with tips and recipes for hosting your own Indian-inspired dinner.

About Varu Chilakamarri: Varu Chilakamarri is a second-generation Indian American who learned to cook traditional South Indian cuisine from her mother. Varu is a writer and attorney who loves creating easy recipes that are influenced by the food of her parents but adapted to fit a busy home kitchen. She’s contributed to the Hill Rag, the Huffington Post, and Bon Appétit. This class requires at least 6 participants. Participants will be notified if the minimum is not met. Registration will close a couple days before the class so the instructor can shop for the appropriate amount of ingredients.
