Family Style: Mexican Dinner – Shrimp Aguachile (like ceviche) & Tortilla Soup
Event Navigation

In this interactive cooking class, Marianne Tshihamba serves up dishes inspired by her travels. On her recent trip to Puerto Vallarta, Marianne learned to make authentic Mexican dishes to share with your family. Shrimp Aguachile, similar to ceviche, is the perfect summer dish! It is tangy, refreshing, and overall delicious! Tortilla soup is a familiar classic that is great all year round and perfectly balances the zest of Shrimp Aguachile. Learn all the tips and tricks at Hill Center, then take your family or friends on a tastebud tour of Mexico right in your dining room!
Unlimited beer and wine are included in the price of the course!
An ingredients list and recipes will be sent out following the class.
Marianne Tshihamba has traveled the world pursuing new flavors and demystifying unfamiliar ingredients. Here in the Washington area, she has scouted the countless international grocery stores that stock their shelves with a wide range of products to serve the needs of our diverse community. Good food knows no boundaries or borders. Check out Marianne on WJLA, where she makes regular appearances to discuss her food and travels.
