Tom and Mark bring together seven former Washington City Paper “Loose Lips” columnists for a greatest hits retrospective and a view of DC’s current political landscape. The beloved column has been a quirky, political gossip must-read since it was created in 1983 by Ken Cummins. “Loose Lips” is billed as the definitive guide to hometown politics in the nation’s capital. Cummins will be joined by (in order of their LL tenure), Erik Wemple (The Washington Post), Jonetta Rose Baras, Elissa Silverman, James Jones, Mike DeBonis (The Washington Post), and Will Sommer (The Daily Beast). Epic. Mic. Drop.

He is co-author with Harry Jaffe of “Dream City,” a Simon & Schuster book on the history of the District and the rise and fall of Marion Barry. Tom is a frequent guest speaker and moderator at a variety of events in the District.
