Mixologist Britt Fox builds upon their past two sold-out, hands-on classes. You’ll learn the essentials of concocting three exquisite cocktails with an emphasis on holiday cheer – think warm and fuzzy. We’ll begin with a shaken cocktail that includes apple butter, followed by Britt’s take on a classic Hot Toddy, and tips on how to implement at home. Britt will finish up with a stirred cocktail: this one from the Negroni family but red and green for the holidays

This two hour class will cover the basics of cocktail ingredients, tools, and techniques: including recipes and hands-on direction for making three cocktails. You’ll leave with the know-how to more effortlessly host your next party.

Britt Fox is a bartender who loves to tell stories. Britt has mixed cocktails at many venerated DC institutions, including the award-laden Silver Lyan and now shuttered Columbia Room. In hospitality, Britt finds a gorgeous blend of connection, creativity, and community. They reside in Northeast Washington DC with their wife and two dogs, and you can find them near a rum daiquiri most days at Cotton & Reed Rum Distillers (where they are the General Manager).
