In this class, Marianne Tshihamba explores that wide variety of flavors from across Africa.

The menu includes:

Chicken Mwamba with Plantains (a traditional Congolese dish made with palm nut cream)

Cape May Calabaza (a South African gourd side dish)

Passion Fruit Bars – these beat the pants off any lemon bar!

Bissap (Senegalese Sorrel drink made with hibiscus flowers)

Here in the Washington area, she has scouted the countless international grocery stores that stock their shelves with a wide range of products to serve the needs of our diverse community.
