Halley Neal and Sam Robbins are each solo singer-songwriters in their own right. Together, the two have released a collaborative Christmas album called “You and Me on Christmas Eve.” Featuring 5 original Christmas songs and 10 classic Holiday covers, “You and Me on Christmas Eve” is a duet-filled Americana celebration of the holiday season. Join Halley Neal and Sam Robbins as they perform the album live!
Halley Neal is an award winning folk singer and songwriter whose live shows center on themes of positivity and peace. Often joined by her backing band of upright bass and fiddle, her lyrical folk-Americana songs are met with her soaring vocals and an upbeat bluegrass instrumentation. Halley has gained national recognition from touring across the country to listening rooms and folk music venues and from her performances at festivals, notably the Kerrville Folk Fest, Rocky Mountain Folks Fest and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Halley released her most recent solo record “Beautiful and Blue” to critical acclaim on September 30th, 2022. Her live shows are remembered for her effortless vocals and honest lyrics.
Sam Robbins is often described as an “old soul singer songwriter.” A nationally touring musician whose music evokes classic singer songwriters like James Taylor and Jackson Browne, Sam adds a modern, upbeat edge to the storyteller troubadour persona. An avid performer, he has gained recognition from extensive national touring, from sharing the stage with artists like Jason Mraz and BJ Thomas, and as a main stage performer at national festivals like the Kerrville and Falcon Ridge Folk Festivals. Leading songwriting workshops and exciting performances across the country, Sam Robbins has gained a reputation as one of the brightest rising stars in the national folk music community.
About David Holiday: David Holiday — a lifelong music aficionado who in his youth performed with the Grammy-winning Texas Boys Choir and numerous youth orchestras and ensembles, founded Stone Room Concerts together with his wife in 2012 to bring intimate, high-quality performances by local, national and international independent musicians to the DMV area. He has hosted more than 200 shows over the past decade in homes, churches and other eclectic venues, including for several years at Bikenetic,a full service bicycle shop in Falls Church. Stone Room Concerts also serves as the fiscal agent for Niñas Arriba, a charitable project of Latin Grammy-nominee Gina Chavez and their wife Jodi Granado, which they set up to support the college education of young women in El Salvador and Central America. In keeping with his long standing professional involvement with Central America, Holiday is part of a team supporting the Maya Kaqchikel musician Sara Curruchich. In 2023, he had the privilege of serving as tour manager for Curruchich’s first-ever US tour, including major venues and festivals in New York, California, Colorado and Illinois.
