When traveling the world, sometimes the best meals are found in the streets – from food trucks, carts and stalls. Chef Mark Haskell will take you on a tour of the back alleys and busy streets of faraway countries.
In this workshop, you’ll be making and tasting savory samosas and pakoras that are ubiquitous throughout India. These savory Indian treats are made with a variety of fillings. Samosas are traditionally fried pastries filled with a spiced potato and vegetable or meat mixture. Pakoras are a type of vegetable fritter often served with chutneys, yogurt and other dipping sauces. Try your hand at crafting this delectable street food alongside Chef Mark Haskell. Beer and wine are included with the class.
Menu:
Samosas stuffed with Curried Shrimp + Potatoes, served with a Tamarind Sauce
Onion Pakora (chickpea + caramelized onion fritters) with Mint Chutney
As this class is in-person, we require all attendees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. See our COVID-19 policy here. This class requires at least 6 participants.
