Appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court by President Bill Clinton, Justice Breyer outlined his legal theory in his 2005 book, “Active Liberty: Interpreting Our Democratic Constitution,” in which he argues that the judiciary should consider the purpose and consequences of original texts like the Constitution. Fun facts: he was an Eagle Scout and is also fluent in French.
ASL interpretation is available upon request given advanced notice. Scholarship tickets are available, if seats remain. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org submit such requests. If you would like a press pass, please contact Maggie Myszka at email@example.com.
