The Art of French Cooking with Chef Gérard Pangaud

Join Chef Gérard Pangaud for a demonstration cooking class featuring seasonal, French cuisine. A two-star Michelin chef and proprietor of award-winning restaurants in Paris, New York and DC, Chef Pangaud will teach you to create a menu and prepare a three-course dinner. His lessons are peppered with his trademark humor, stories of the old world and dozens of invaluable tips for novice and experienced cooks alike. In Chef Gérard’s kitchen, the creative use of taste and technique trump the mechanical allegiance to the cookbook—a process that’s not only fun and stimulating, but produces delicious results! For each class, Chef Pangaud searches his wine cellar for perfect pairings and provides two selections of wine.
In this class, Chef Pangaud will feature:
Cassolette of Snails, Burgundy style
Scallops “à la nage” in Vegetable Broth
Oeufs au lait (eggs with milk)
Please note that classes often go over the allotted time. A minimum of 8 enrolled students is required for this cooking class to occur. Students will be notified if the minimum is not met.
