VIRTUAL CLASS: Creative Photography with Adobe Lightroom
Wednesday, February 8 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Wednesdays from February 1 to February 22 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Digital photography has given us powerful tools to reveal not just what our eye saw through the viewfinder but what our heart saw as well.
Learn how to use Adobe Lightroom to creatively explore your photos, to surface what makes each photo interesting through adjustments to tone, texture and color.
The class, limited to four, will give you hands-on practice working with your own photos from your camera, phone or scanner to push your photography in new directions.
What you will learn:
- How to adjust your photo’s lightness and darkness, color and texture to make an engaging, beautifully rendered image.
- How to look for the story behind your photo and bring that forward to viewers.
- How to use Lightroom’s new AI-based selection tools to emphasize important areas of your photo. You can subtly darken the sky of a landscape or make your subject stand out against the background.
- You will also learn how to select the people in your photos and individually adjust their skin, eyes, hair, lips and teeth.
The class is entirely screen-based, so we will be using Zoom. That also allows us to record each class and post it afterward on Youtube with a private link.
Skill level: Beginner to Intermediate. Previous experience working in Lightroom is required. Minimum Age: 16. Requirements: Adobe Photography Plan subscription.
