For all families\, it’s Music Together con un giro—with a twist! \n“¡Cuénteme más!”—“Tell me more!”—you say\, so here goes: all enrolled families receive a CD plus digital access to the semester’s songs recorded in a mixture of Spanish and English\, as well as the English-language songbook and a booklet with the Spanish lyrics. You’ll hear some new voices on the recordings\, too: adult singer Mary Ellen Assue and child singers Tony Jimenez and Emily Cano. In this music class for babies\, your Music Together teacher will show you how you can support your baby’s music development through simple and fun activities. As you discover new ways to play with music all week long\, you’ll support your child’s music learning and overall development—even if you don’t think of yourself as a great singer or dancer. \nWhy Mixed Ages? \nChild development researchers discovered that grouping children of different ages in one class encourages natural\, family-style learning\, so Music Together developed the Mixed-Age Music Class. DESCRIPTION:In-person This event has passed Register HereThis class is a wonderful transition between Toddler & Me and Ballet\, Tap & Jazz class. Music\, movement\, balance and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun\, friendly and positive manner. The dancers do not have mom\, dad or another loved one by their side during the class\, so this class is great for children who will be able to participate in class on their own. Our teachers will keep the music and curriculum moving along in a way that is fun\, positive and appropriate for children 2.5-3.5 years of age.
