Whether it be a conference day\, a longer break – like February and Spring – or the Summer\, we provide a fun\, safe place to explore DC\, learn about our community\, and make new friends! \n\n\n\n\n\n\nSafety is our number one priority!\nLearning through play makes every day fun!\nArts and movement are integrated into each activity!\n\nAt Busy Bees Music and Arts Playgroup\, we believe in the transformative power of creativity\, exploration\, and play. Our playgroup is a vibrant and nurturing environment where young children can discover their unique talents\, develop essential skills\, and cultivate a lifelong love for the arts. \n\nGet ready for an unforgettable experience with Busy Bees! Our program offers a dynamic and engaging adventure for children\, keeping them active\, learning\, and having fun. Join us for a day filled with exciting activities\, learning opportunities\, and new friendships. Register today and give your child the best Spring Break Camp experience with Busy Bees! \nThere are 3 programs: Busy Bees for ages 24-48 months\, Buzzing Bees for ages 4-5.5 years\, and Bumbling Bees for ages 5.5-7 years. Full and part time days\, weeks\, and sessions are available. There will be daily fun and educational activities\, music class\, and an art project for all campers plus trips to local playgrounds and field trips (age and weather permitting). \n  \n

Experience the joy of making a variety of Asian dumplings\, complete with wrappers for both steaming and frying\, plus flavorful soups and sauces to enhance your feast. Embrace the fun and flavors of this special celebration! \n“Mark Haskell is awesome! I loved participating in the cooking process\, the food was delicious and plentiful and I enjoyed the wine. I took the day off work for this class and have no regrets!” -Stacy \nAbout Mark: Chef Mark Haskell’s career has taken him to kitchens in Europe\, Asia\, South America and the US. A native of the South Carolina Lowcountry\, he has an affection for Southern cooking and gardening\, and he applies his international flair to these traditions.
