SUMMARY:Piano and Voice Lessons with Ms. Alice
DESCRIPTION:Alice was raised by a family of professional singers and began taking Suzuki piano lessons at age 4. In school\, she joined concert bands playing the French horn and often landed leading roles in musical theater productions at school and in community theaters. Alice studied music at the University of Maryland\, College Park where she served in leadership positions in music honor society Tau Beta Sigma and the Mighty Sound of Maryland Marching Band. Now\, Alice performs and teaches as a professional vocalist\, piano\, trumpet\, and French horn player.\n\n\n\n\n\nAlice wrote original music for\, performed with\, and produced and edited music videos for funk Wammie nominee Strangers That Clique. She currently sings and plays trumpet and keys with award winning musician and climate activist\, Joshua Long\, and she collaborates and performs with Sly on the Bright Side and Dream City Brass. Alice fronts her new band\, The Melting Virgos\, in which she performs her original songs about climate justice and class solidarity.\n\nAlice’s love of music and focus on fun keeps students coming back\, excited to develop their skills.
