Kasse Andrews-Weller - Kente Mosaics

Born in rural Georgia, Kasse was surrounded by her mother’s quilts, and her father’s sawmill wood. She found her own passion in the red clay of the Town Branch. These three materials, fabric, wood and clay have an ever presence in her art. Kasse has a BFA and MFA in sculpture and a MA in Strategic Studies. With one she pursued work in the Federal Government and Military Service, while the other two bring her joy and happiness.
