Description
I painted this on an early summer morning in Viterbo, Italy. I found the medieval, walled city truly enchanting, but I craved some nature and greenery among the cobblestones and edifices. This little scene, with its bold and towering foliage alongside the terra-cotta walls, was refreshing.
