Two Tulips was taken in such a way as to emphasize color rather than form. The shot is somewhat out of focus, only one stem marginally appears, yet it is a powerful image, perhaps because it reminds us of the power of nature to stir us. This photo was recently given an Honorable Mention in the International Photography Awards competition.
