Thom Slaughter

Navy Veteran – 1985-1996

About the Art: Thom’s charcoal artwork shows incredible detail and precision. His original foray into artwork was a means to create the characters for his creative writing books. After honing his skill, he finds peace in the texture and life experience that he is able to create with charcoals.

About the Artist: As a boy, Thom learned higher level math at a very young age. His early abilities have served him well in the architectural Being able to connect a highly technical. Since getting off the ship when he left the quiet of the submarine, he is a writer and artist.

As a self-taught Charcoal artist, Thom’s natural ability and vision are reflected in his artwork familiarity. His drawings tend to express what he is experiencing personally. Thom spends a lot of his time helping homeless veterans and cares deeply the crisis they survive every day. He’s most proud of how he is able to captures textures and permeate emotions in his artwork.
