Reflection of PTSD

In stock

Cristin Dy

Veteran – Air Force 2002-2006

About the Art: The artwork is a reflection on living with PTSD and the perseverance to grow stronger from traumatic events.

About the Artist: As a disabled veteran artist, Cristin’s artwork is influenced by her Southern heritage and life experiences. She loved making art during her childhood and have had many influences along the way. Most of Cristin’s work consists of abstract painting but she also enjoys craftwork and folk art.

Artist’s Experience: I do art because it is freeing, humbling, forgiving, and subjective. Art has played a big role in my ongoing treatment of chronic pain and in overcoming my life’s obstacles. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to show my art to the public. I feel a great connection with other veteran artists and the community inviting us to share our work.
