Description
My work traces the pulse of living experience in Washington DC through the places I visit and people I meet and make friends. I paint restaurants, theaters, museums, and people where it becomes a portrait of the moment where community, culture and memory meet. I use color and gesture to hold onto scenes that might otherwise pass but it becomes homage to the neighborhoods and people that makes feel at home.
