Our Foundation President, Dr. Jennifer Cartland is the Executive Director of Reach, Incorporated. Reach Incorporated, a non-profit organization in Washington, DC, develops grade-level readers and capable leaders by preparing teens to serve as tutors and role models for younger students, resulting in improved literacy outcomes for both.

In addition to leading Reach, Cartland consults with Special Olympics North America’s Unified Champion Schools®, where sports, leadership, and targeted activities empower youth with and without intellectual disabilities to unify as advocates for equity and inclusivity.
