Artist’s Statement

The gift of Art has enriched my life for as long as I can remember. I am humbled, challenged, and elated by it everyday.

My Art training which began at Catholic University with Kenneth Noland and the Corcoran School of Art has been ongoing through the years with among others, U Mary Washington; and Va. Commonwealth U. Masters program.

Some highlights include a Studio at the Torpedo factory; teaching elementary school art in Fairfax County; owning and operating a gallery in DC and Va. But my greatest love is the making of art. I have been exhibiting and selling my work for over 40 years. While the opportunity to travel and study abroad have broadened my vision, most of my subjects tend to be local and personal.
