The discovery process fuels my passion to create art. I look at geometry in a novel way. Probing beneath the surface, I explore the interaction between simple shapes playing off each other. The resulting harmonious illusion appears to have its own natural reality. By using pencil, I get the greatest flexibility. A greater dramatic statement is possible by using rich blacks and white highlights. I borrow a myriad of textures from nature that allows me to both cover up mistakes and produce numerous realistic appearances. Since there is no preconceived composition, pencils and erasers let me explore evolving configurations that can result in a pleasing image. This laborious process yields a GOEMETRIC WONDER.
