October 15, 2019 – January 15, 2020

Upon completion of my Bachelors and Masters in Fine Arts degrees in sculpture, I did a 180 at the fork in the road and pursued parallel careers in the federal government and the military. Art was put on the back burner. With another Masters in Strategic Studies, my focus was supporting those making the critical decisions at the highest levels.

Now as a re-emerging artist, in the serenity of my studio, I ponder the news of the day. The direction of our national and international affairs provides the creative approach to my visual artistic statement. They are how I interpret US. The Band Aids cover, but do they heal?

I am obsessed with this series, that mirrors my sentiments. But every now and then, I make a whimsical diversion from reality in my artistic expression.
