Rindy Obrien is a Capitol Hill photographer that captures everyday objects and turns them into works of art. She also enjoys capturing iconic places like Julia Child’s kitchen (Massachusetts)or Nathan’s hotdog stand on Cony Island (New York). Cooking objects are especially wonderful treasures, and Rindy has found panda salt and pepper shakers (Tennessee), depression era milk bottles (Kansas), and more. Together these photographs capture the immense variety of styles that create a cooking culture in America. Rindy’s work has been shown in museums, art galleries, and in many publications.
