The American LOVE Project is a grassroots response to the divisions in our country. Artists from across the country were invited to submit work and Maury ES (1250 Constitution Ave. NE) stepped up to the challenge. Under the direction of the art teacher, Lauren Bomba, each student in the school created a mixed-media piece expressing the meaning and importance of love. A sampling of them is presented in the Young Artists Gallery and also in this virtual gallery.
