Uncle Devin” Walker is a celebrated children’s drummer and music educator. His dynamic shows, like The Uncle Devin Show®, featuring “Drum Tales!” and “Be Yourself!,” inspire children through engaging rhythms. His captivating concerts, workshops, and professional development uplift schools and communities globally, exploring the rich history of percussion.

Go-Go music is the official music of Washington, DC. In this interactive concert, Uncle Devin uses his original tunes, funky grooves, and the DC style of African call-and-response to have children experience the infectious energy of a live Go-Go that just doesn’t stop. This percussion-driven show will have you dancing and singing as you learn about the history of DC. Uncle Devin will explore the influences that African and Latin rhythms had on the creation of Go-Go music.

A member of the GRAMMY®-nominated 1 Tribe Collective, he performs worldwide, collaborating with prestigious institutions like the Kennedy Center and the GRAMMY® Museum. Uncle Devin co-founded WEE Nation Radio, a family-focused online platform, and wrote the acclaimed children’s book, “The ABCs of Percussion!
