Grace Dobrow – Magnolia

Description

My paintings are the culmination of a lifetime of doing other things. However, the memories from those experiences were internalized, and now that I have become an artist, I evoke them into subjects for my art. With focused practice and mindless play, logging many hours, I discovered an ability to “see” vs “look” and “feel” vs “copy”. My preference for oils has emerged, my style as developed, and my subjects are “plants” and “places” formatted on larger canvases.
