Description
Ralph Blessing is a travel and nature photographer whose skills, aside from a visual anthropology course at the Chicago Art Institute in 1973, are largely self-taught. He lived in Latin America for more than five years, mostly as a Peace Corps volunteer, and has traveled extensively throughout the region, always with a camera in tow. About six months of that time was been spent in the Yucatan region of Mexico following his retirement at the start of 2010. More recently his travels have included various locations in Europe, China and Southeast Asia, in addition to various U.S. locations, most recently Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.
