I paint townscapes and landscapes in contemporary impressionist style. Getting out of the studio to paint on-scene, plein air, from life is a central aspect of my evolving painting practice to exercise my perception and gestural style. My subjects are generally near my studio in Washington DC neighborhoods or the surrounding region.
