Description

Based on my classical training in drawing and painting, I work primarily from direct observation, but often take subject matter into abstract realms and occasionally start with inspiration of master paintings. I concentrate on color plays and geometric relationships, often employing prismatic effects, planal shifts, and diagonal or serpentine moves of line and color through space. I work primarily in oil, but also often work with watercolor, and occasionally charcoal or printmaking.
