David Dantzic

Foundation Treasurer David Dantzic, who has lived on the Hill since 2007, is a retired partner from Latham & Watkins, LLP who specialized in mergers & acquisitions and other corporate transactions. He was also a long time member of the Board of Trustees of Legal Aid, served as President of the Board for three years and was the 2023 recipient of its Servant of Justice Award. Mr. Dantzic is currently one of the leaders of a neighborhood effort to purchase and restore Mott’s Market, a neighborhood bodega located on 12th Street. The Dantzic Family is the lead sponsor of the American Roots Series at Hill Center produced by The Quicksilver Productions Foundation, a nonprofit run by his wife Martha.
