Family Member – Navy 1965-1969
Barbara has enjoyed making art as a pastime to relax, express her thoughts, and bring peace to her life. Being married to Michael, she has gained appreciation for the easy cleanup of painting compared to woodworking.
Artist Statement
Doing art was always a spontaneous activity for me. I didn’t sketch out a plan, make adjustments, and then put my brush to the paper. My expression is fluid, a steady stream of energy put to paper. I am so thankful for the wellness and engagement brought to all of us through the healing power of art.
