About Susan Schwei
Family Member – Army 1967-1978
Susan attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and her early career was designing junior sportswear. After her marriage to her husband, she accompanied him during his military service and wasn’t able continue working in the fashion industry. Most recently, she worked for the American Red Cross for 16 years, until resigning to return to the creative process. Susan has always been fascinated by color, texture and fabric which has inspired her to study printmaking. She has been intrigued by the endless possibilities this art form provides for creative exploration.
