In this interactive cooking class, Marianne Tshihamba serves up dishes inspired by her travels. Learn the secrets of balancing bold Moroccan flavors: succulent Chicken Tagine with Briny Preserved Lemons, a crunchy-sweet Carrot & Harissa Salad, and the art of pouring Mint Tea like a true Berber host. Your taste buds will dance to the rhythm of North Africa!

Marianne Tshihamba has traveled the world pursuing new flavors and demystifying unfamiliar ingredients. Here in the Washington area, she has scouted the countless international grocery stores that stock their shelves with a wide range of products to serve the needs of our diverse community. Good food knows no boundaries or borders. Check out Marianne on WJLA, where she makes regular appearances to discuss her food and travels.
This class requires at least 6 participants. Participants will be notified if the minimum is not met. Registration will close a couple days before the class so the instructor can shop for the appropriate amount of ingredients.
